New Buy!

I also made a new purchase during May. I bought 16 shares of National Grid Plc ADR (NGG). 

NGG offers steady business as it works mainly on transmission networks in UK, but it also has business in USA. It delivers electricity to around 3.4 Million customers and Natural Gas to around 3.6 Million customers in Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island. 

So National Grid Plc is an electricity and gas utility company. The UK Electricity Transmission includes high voltage electricity transmission networks in Great Britain. Its UK Gas Transmission provides the gas transmission network in Great Britain and UK liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage activities. The Company’s UK Gas Distribution includes four of the eight regional networks of Great Britain’s gas distribution system. US Regulated includes gas distribution networks, electricity distribution networks and high voltage electricity transmission networks in New York and New England and electricity generation facilities in New York and Massachusetts. The Company’s activities primarily relate to non-regulated businesses and other commercial operations, including United Kingdom based gas and electricity metering activities; UK property management; a UK LNG import terminal; other LNG operations, and US unregulated transmission pipelines.

There is a small fee for dividends to be deducted for ADR-shares so if you can you could buy this stock in LSE using the Queens money.  (example. A fee of $0.02 per ADR will be deducted from cash dividends for the 2015/16 final dividend.)

Dividend Income: April 2016

$782.10 month for me. Could be worst.. got my full year dividends from Fortum and UPM corporations.

I instantly put the money on use and bought 15 shares of Procter & Gamble.

Just filling my tax report, while writing this. Hoping to get some extra tax returns.

(Handelsbanken and Nordea pays dividend only once a year, so that's why the "little bigger numbers".)

My first quarter was rely good, I got total of $533.30 in dividend income. ($237.11 last year)
All most double, not quite. But if you think all the setbacks that i had last year, then it is a good "score".

No purchases in March. Had to pay: car insurance, car loan, heating oil, and had to buy a bunch of baby stuff and make my wife happy. Did manage to but some money to my brokerage account, not enough to make a decent buy. Maybe next month. 

Today added few shares of AT&T.

In February 2016 I added few shares of Fortum (FUM1V) and purchased shares in Handelsbanken.

New Purchase

I bought 18 shares of Sampo Plc A (SAMAS OMX Helsinki) This is first part of my purchase plan I will buy some more in few months.

End Year Report 2015

Happy New Year!!

It is time to start a new year. Lot have been accomplished and a lot needs to be done. So let's start this report thingy. 

First, I have Failed all my Goals that I had set for my self during the 2015. Why is that.. well I lost my job at the beginning of 2015, that had a high cost on my monthly deposits ( I was aiming for 1050€/month).  But luckily I was able to get another job and that's a good thing. Losing the job cost around six(6)-weeks pay.  I was let to know few months before that I was losing my job and that also effected my ability and will to invest more money. Since I was not sure that could I get a new job or not. Also later 2015 me and my wife went to a holiday in Spain, during those 2 weeks I did not get any salary. So I only had around 10 months of payed working time last year (2015). Also the cost of that trip was around 1.5-2k €. Expensive.. huh.

Let's see what I accomplished!

• Dividend Income 2015:  $1,788.22 
• I was able to add 9143€ cash to my portfolio. (average 761.91€ / monthly )
• My Current Portfolio Value is 37,641.07€ or $40,979.76 

After all the troubles, I'm happy on my result. There was growth on every aspect of my portfolio. Some investments went shit and others are doing just fine! 

Dividend income grew from $1.252 to $1,788 and my portfolio value grew from around $28000 to close $41000 

That's about it!

I'm looking forward and hope that the next year will be better overall than the last year. What will the next year bring ? well nobody knows.

I'm also going to be a dad next year so heh.. well see. Children are cheap right ?! :)
